Studio Policies

We are a community of movement lovers, honored to be a part of the extraordinary neighborhood, Remington. We see no labels and open-heartedly welcome EVERY-BODY.

We believe in the power of clear communication, so in order for us to serve you better it’s important that some policies are put in place. Please read them carefully.

Schedules, teachers and prices of classes, passes, memberships and/or products are subject to change without notice. Please always check our website for our most current offers.

LATE CANCELLATION POLICY

We consider any cancellation made less than 4 hours prior to the scheduled class to be a ‘late cancel’. Members and Intro Offers will be charged a $10 late cancellation fee. Drop-ins and Class Packages will not receive a credit or refund. You may call the studio or send us an email to request that the fee be waived or credit be returned. Each request will be taken into consideration on a case by case basis.

PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy is very important to us. Any personal information you choose to give us will only be used to help us provide you with the highest quality services, products, and support.

We will never share your personal or financial information with any other party.

We do not share bank or credit card information with any outside parties.

AGES FOR CLASSES

We honor that for most people, coming to class is taking a break from everything and needing some “adult time”. We offer Kids series and classes as a way of having children being a part of our Movement Lab community.

For all other classes you must be 18 years or older. Students under 18 may be able to attend if accompanied by an adult at the discretion of the instructor.

PAYMENT FOR CLASSES

Payment for classes is always due at the time service is rendered. We will not hold checks or accept postdated checks.

RECURRING BILLING / MONTHLY AUTODRAFT

The Unlimited Autopay Membership requires 30 days notice to cancel.

Please email info@themvmtlab.com to give official 30 days notice to cancel.

REFUNDS & TRANSFERS

Prepaid classes and absence from classes are non-refundable.

Class Packages are non refundable and non transferable to other persons.

Class Packages can only be used for regular scheduled classes excluding special workshops, series or teacher training/development programs.

WORKSHOPS / SERIES / PROGRAMS / TEACHER TRAINING PAYMENT POLICY

A workshop/series/program deposit (if applicable to the program) and program tuition payment is required in full the first day of class, unless there is a specific payment plan offered and selected for the workshop/series/program that is being offered.

If you select the payment plan option (if applicable to the workshop/series/program you are participating in), the deposit (if applicable) plus the first installment is due on the FIRST DAY OF CLASS.

No exceptions.

Registration can be completed over the phone or online.

WORKSHOPS / SERIES / PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS

If you cancel 7 days prior to the workshop/series/program start date, you will be issued a refund minus a 10% workshop admin fee.

There will be no refunds or transfers for cancellations within 7 days of workshop start date. However, credit can be applied to your account.

In addition, there will be no refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete workshop.

Teacher may cancel any event if they do not reach the minimum registered participants required. In these cases, a full refund will be issued.

TEACHER TRAINING CANCELLATIONS

Application fees and/or deposit fees -when applicable- are non-refundable under any circumstances.

After payment has been received if a request for cancellation is given with 7 days before training starts, you will receive a full refund minus a 25% for administrative and processing fees.

PRIVATE SESSION CANCELLATIONS

Private Sessions must be cancelled 24 hours in advance or student will be charged for the full rate of the session.

INCLEMENT WEATHER CANCELLATIONS

On some occasions it becomes necessary to close the studio due to inclement weather.

Please consult the website, Facebook and Instagram for weather cancellations.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

MOVEMENT SHOP RETAIL

We encourage you to try on the clothes before purchasing.

You can receive full Credit if you return within 7 days. Tags MUST be attached and clothes/equipment MUST show no signs of wear/use.

No refunds.

GIFT CARD REFUNDS

Gift Cards are not refundable and non returnable. If purchased for a specific pass, they can not be used as cash.

LOST ITEMS

Movement Lab will not be responsible for lost or stolen items under any circumstances.

Please refrain from bringing valuables into the studio.

The studio provides a Lost and Found box for items students may leave behind. On the first day of each month, these items (including yoga mats) will be removed and donated.

LATECOMERS

It is important that you arrive 10-15 minutes early for class. This is mandatory for all Aerial classes in order to have time to fit your hammock to you. If you are late for a class your spot may be given to someone on our wait-list.

If you are on a wait-list and a spot opens we will contact you by phone or email. However, we recommend you also be on-site for any last minute openings due to a no show.
