Yoga changed my life, and it is my intention to live the life of a yogi. I seek to share the classical practice with others so that they may connect with their innermost nature and supreme self which is always in a state of peace and bliss. I am honored to share the Hatha Raja Yoga teachings which concentrate on Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques), Dharana (concentration) and Dhyana (meditation). As Sri Dharma Mittra says, “All is within.”

Noelle Tolbert

As a dancer and educator, there is only one goal which is to create. I believe that confidence, independence, and strength are endured by keeping an open channel within ourselves to be creative. Each dance move has a meaning, I connect with students to bring awareness to their bodies while uncovering or carving what physically exists. As the Dance Director of the Chesapeake Arts Center in Brooklyn Park, MD not only have I provide a platform for children and adults to enhance their performance skills through various styles of dance and technique, but realize that joy comes in so may different forms.

Kelcie Mack

Lover of the process / painter / believer in free will / artist / beach babe / explorer / Ashtanga practitioner / reader / critical thinker / podcast listener / passionate / traveller /plant mom / dog lover / inversion junkie

I was born and raised in New Jersey just a few blocks from the beach, and will
always be in love with the ocean. I currently live in Baltimore, but love to travel and explore the world. I received my 200hr yoga teacher certification in Koh Samui, Thailand with an amazing group of teachers and students. I am in love with the process and recognize the importance of showing up for myself, every damn day. I hope to encourage my students to self reflect, critically think, and look beyond the asanas to truly appreciate the practice.

Erica Schommer

Jersey Girl turned Baltimorean / Scorpio / Seeker of Truth & Wisdom / Patient Listener / Vinyl Enthusiast / Hula Hooping Hobbyist / Yoga Instructor / Mental Health Advocate & Professional

My intention in each class is to bring yoga into the hearts of others as more than just a physical practice. I enjoy weaving in elements of yoga philosophy to create an experience that is nurturing for the body, mind, and spirit. As an advocate for expressive therapies, I strongly believe that yoga’s adaptability is what makes it a lifelong practice. Regardless of age, body type, culture, and lifestyle, yoga can be a remarkable vehicle for change.

Cynthia Chavez

Dancer / Teacher / Constant Learner / Dance Leader / Social Entrepreneur / Co-Founder / Middle Child / Grew Up in Alaska / Fisherwoman / Food Lover / Beach Enthusiast / Volleyball Player / Zumba and Jumping Fitness Instructor

Dance is where I find my voice and my power.  I believe that dance allows people to better express themselves and elevate expectations within themselves to become successful community members that can achieve greatness. Through movement, whether it is through Hip-Hop dance, Zumba, or Jumping Fitness, I hope to not only help people recognize their full potential and self-worth, but also to foster positive relationships that strengthen communities.

Elyza Dolby

I was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and somewhere in between the corn fields and chicken houses, I began uncovering my love of all things yoga… the asana, the breath work, the presence, the energy. Though I ignored the lessons for years and chose a path of self-destruction instead, I continually came back to the practice, and finally found healing on my mat. Through yoga, meditation, laughter (and maybe a few tears), I hope to share my story so that others may be able to begin to recognize their own healing journey.

Carly Faye

I believe dance is empowering and available for everybody. Moving through dance and yoga makes the outside world melt away. I am eager to share my passion for dance with the Baltimore community I have missed so dearly, and strive to build a bigger, better, more inclusive Baltimore dance community! So let’s get moving! I’ll see you all in class, you’re body will thank you for it!
