Gary Grisham

Martial Artist / Mixed Movement Artist / Husband & Soul Mate to Solveig / Student - Teacher / Preserving Pisces / Earth Wondering Enthusiast / Alabama Boy at Heart // Occasional Class Clown / Music Minded / Ice Bather / Breath Worker / Pro Laugher;)

For most of my life the unfamiliar way has been the preferred, most compelling choice. Although as my practice of being a lifelong Martial Artist and Movement Athlete evolves, the understanding of all roads lead home continues to show up in how/what I study and share. Through exploring the relationships of strength and softness, fixed and fluid we can begin to transition from simply moving our bodies to letting our bodies move us. In my Martial Arts, Free Form Movement, Budokon, and BreathWork classes we aim to move with deeper purpose, confidence, and control to then give ourselves permission to fully own the moments of complete self expression and freedom.
“Sometimes, Go with the Flow, most times, Flow with the Go.” – Rickson Gracie

Solveig Skutvik AKA Sunny

Animal Lover / Mixed Movement Artist / Gary’s Wife / Traveller / Norwegian / Big Dreamer / Mountain Hiker / Nature Lover / Spiritual / Yogi / Sister / Food Enthusiast

Moving the body has always been a big fascination for me. The various possibilities we as humans have to move excites me daily and is one of my passions that I love sharing with other explorers.

My intention is to help my students get closer to their full potential, to be more playful (realizing that life doesn’t always have to be that serious), to give people an opportunity to challenge themselves mentally and physically, and hopefully walk out of the experience with a more open mind.

Becca Steinbach

Joy Weaver / Paq'o / Mesa Carrier / Devotee to Great Spirit / Geoffrey's Partner / Woman of the Earth / Healer / Pillar of Light / Dreamer / Cacao Conduit / Fur Baby Mama to Khaleesi & Kitty Kat / Embodiment Guide / Holy Fire Reiki Master / Ceremonialist / Sun & Moon Child / Sacred Flame Initiate / Space Holder / Surrendering & Evolving / Munay

I am here on this Earth, our beloved Pachamama, to be a presence of Joy and Love, dream weaving the Sacred, walking hand-in-hand with Spirit, and grounding the Sacred, the Light, into the Earth as we move through this Great Shift. I answered the mythic call – that whisper of the Soul to walk the Path of healing, of shedding, and of returning home to the Essence Self, Wholeness. It’s a continual journey around the medicine wheel – a journey of awakening, surrender, shedding, opening, growth, transformation, heart, embodiment, evolution and love. In joyful and loving service, I guide those in the community who are choosing to answer their mythic call and journey around the medicine wheel – to evolve, heal, shift. As a Paq’o (healer/medicine woman/mesa carrier), I help one restore balance, hold space for one to re-member and embody their Wholeness, and serve as a guide as they walk their true path.

Jamal Pender

Father of 6 / Husband / Partner / Black Belt / Flirt / Martial Artist / Yogi / Coach / Student / Wrestler / Traveler / Athlete / Intellectual Thug

Forever Loving, Forever learning. As a Martial Artist and Movement athlete for 40 years, I have a life long commitment to challenge and conquer the perceived limitations myself and others create in our lives. Through the practice of Budokon, my hope is to share the beauty of yoga, martial arts, calisthenics and mindfulness with everyone I encounter.
My purpose in this world: Be Kind, Be Necessary, Be True…

Colleen Kimberly Broersma

Light Worker / My Vibration Is Love / Yoga For The Soul / Sacred Heart / Cacao / Violet Flame Ascension Guide / Nature / My Fur Babies / Divine / Cosmic Dance Of Life / Intuitive Healer / Consciousness Co-creator

Yoga for the Soul; taught in the vibration of love, Vata with some Pitta fire, Keeper of the Earth sharing sacred Cacao Ceremonies, steeped in LOVE, Unity Consciousness, shadow work, growth & expansion.
I started on my journey to the soul in 2014 after taking my 1st yoga class. It awakened in me the search for my true authentic self and sent me on my journey to discover my souls’ divine purpose.
Through yoga & energy healing I started the work of shedding outdated belief systems to step out of fear and into love.
It is this continual self-exploration that has guided me to share all of the tools I have amassed on my journey (thus far) including the medicine of restorative yoga, Kundalini, breath-work, meditation, chanting, intuitive energy healing, Violet Flame healing and the plant medicine of cacao.

Lainie Smith

Massage Therapist /vBodyworker / Energy Healer / Yoga Fanatic / Buti Bliss Facilitator / Passionate Leo / Wanderer / Lover of all things outdoors

Lainie is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), honored by the National Yoga Alliance. In 2015, she traveled to Guatemala where she stayed for two months living at a Sattvic Ashram, studying classical Hatha yoga principles, class instruction, Hridaya meditation, and much more. Hatha yoga is an ancient practice that focuses on working with the body, moving to the breath, diving deep within the mind, and eventually reaching the inner self for means of self discovery and realization. Allowing the mind and body to become one, moving in unison and bringing balance to the entire system. Lainie has since then used this traditional training background and combined it with Vinyasa teachings to create a truly unique yoga class – one with deep roots in traditional yoga mixed with creative transitions and flows. Along with her training and certification in Massage Therapy, she creates a class that is not only movement and breath based, but also rooted in intention and mindfulness.

Megan Oliver

Harnoor Singh AKA Noor

Hernan Guadalupe

Believer / Loving Husband and Father / Ambitious Soul / Problem Solver / Rational Thinker / Knowledge Seeker/ Martial Artist / Jiu Jitsu Junkie / ROLLSTAR / Scholar of Rollosophy

A wise man once said, it is not about what you take from martial arts; it is about what you give to martial arts. My goal as a martial artist and Jiu Jitsu coach is simple: To facilitate life-changing knowledge, experiences, and techniques through the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to help students transform and become empowered mentally and physically, all in a fun and safe environment. I wish to take my 20 plus years as a martial artist and bring joy to someone’s life. Ultimately, life is too short NOT to train Jiu Jitsu, so just smile, dap, and roll.

Elsa Cardin

My relationship with pole dancing is 15 years old and storied. I can’t say I’ve always seen it this way, but somewhere along the way pole dancing came to represent triumph over struggle. While there are many tools we can use to empower ourselves, for me, there is nothing quite like pole dance to quiet criticism and let in feelings of strength, joy, and possibility.

It’s an honor to share such a beautiful form of movement and expression with others. My goal is to create a welcoming space for people to connect more deeply with themselves, while also building community with others (countless friendships have been born out of the fun and irreverence of pole dance!)

I’d be remiss not to add that the art of pole dance is inseparable from the strong, smart, and kind-hearted dancers of the strip club industry. As a veteran of the industry, my pole dance practice is one piece of a larger intention to reduce stigma, raising awareness of the exploitation of workers, and make a positive difference.

Eric Sipes

Eric Sipes found a love of movement arts when he began teaching himself to breakdance via videos from a file sharing program back in early 2000. Hardly able to contain his excitement and passion for movement, he began sharing his practice with any and everyone.
After moving to Baltimore in 2011 he was introduced to AcroYoga and it changed his life completely. Eric has trained with professionals from all over the world, and has spent literally thousands of hours practicing his craft. Eric believes that in order to be a great teacher you must also be an amazing student, he obtained a 200hr yoga certification from Baltimore Yoga Village before receiving his AcroYoga International certification, AcroRevolution certification, Lux Teacher training Certification, Thai Massage Certification, and more!
You can catch him performing partner acrobatics at various venues with his partner Kelly Marburger, and also as a member of the acrobatic troupe “ClubSandwich”. His progression based method of teaching along with an embodied practice, a clear voice, and a passion for supporting others will help take you to the next level in your practice!

Carmen Scannell

Carmen started her pole dance journey in 2010 at Xpose fitness. After taking class for 2 years she knew she wanted to be an instructor.

Carmen decided that her 14 years of dance training and her skills on the pole would make her a great teacher. She started teaching in June of 2012 and has made it her career.

She has also taken first place in three pole competitions and placed in multiple others. Carmen even competed in the Professional Qualifier at the Atlantic Pole Championships.

Carmen wants each person in her class to feel a sense of accomplishment when they leave. She strives to build every student up.

Kirsten Lapointe AKA Coach K
